Junior DevOps Engineer based in Cameroon — building reliable infrastructure, automating deployments, and learning every day. Passionate about cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and making systems that just work.
I am a junior DevOps engineer based in Cameroon, currently sharpening my skills through the NextGen Playground DevOps program — a hands-on training initiative focused on real-world cloud and infrastructure practices.
My journey into DevOps started with a genuine curiosity about how software gets built, shipped, and kept alive in production. Over the past year and a half, I've gone from understanding basic Linux commands to provisioning cloud infrastructure with Terraform, automating configuration with Ansible, and deploying containerized applications with Kubernetes.
I trained at Primus Learning, where I built a strong foundation in cloud computing, networking, and infrastructure fundamentals. I believe in learning by doing — every concept I study, I apply in a real project. My goal is to grow into a confident DevOps engineer who bridges the gap between development teams and reliable cloud infrastructure.
I thrive in collaborative environments and am passionate about automation, continuous improvement, and building systems that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Participating in an intensive, hands-on DevOps training program designed to simulate real-world engineering workflows. Working on live projects covering the full DevOps lifecycle from source control to deployment and monitoring.
Completed structured training in cloud computing and infrastructure fundamentals, gaining hands-on exposure to industry-standard tools and practices used in production environments.
Designed and implemented an automated deployment pipeline using GitHub Actions. The pipeline triggers on every git push, runs build steps, and deploys automatically — eliminating manual deployment entirely and reducing human error.
Provisioned cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code principles. Defined compute instances, networking, and storage as reusable, version-controlled configuration files for repeatable deployments.
Automated server configuration and application setup using Ansible playbooks. Eliminated manual steps and ensured consistent, repeatable environments across multiple servers — cutting configuration time dramatically.
Built and deployed this personal portfolio using GitHub Pages with a custom domain through Cloudflare. Configured DNS records, enabled proxy (orange cloud), enforced HTTPS, and set up automatic deployment on every git push.
I am actively looking for internship opportunities and junior DevOps roles where I can contribute, grow, and work alongside experienced engineers.
Whether you're looking for a motivated junior engineer to join your team, want to collaborate on a project, or just want to connect — feel free to reach out. I respond promptly and am always open to conversations about cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
